TWO thugs have been jailed for a combined 18 year for stabbing an associate viciously in the back.
Theo Maddix, 22, from Cowley, and Ian O'Leary, 26, from Uxbridge, were sent to jail after a personal dispute got out of hand, and they sought to settle the dispute with a knife.
Both men had pleaded not guilty to GBH with intent, but a jury at Isleworth Crown Court found them guilty after a five day trial.
BASE Bar is to have its drinks license temporarily suspended and entry restricted to over 23s.
Groups of over five men over have also been restricted from entering.
A meeting was held last Monday to discuss the future of the bar in Uxbridge High Street after police requested a review, claiming trouble emanating from the nightclub was a drain on their resources.
The bar is to have its license suspended for 14 days in two weeks time, unless they decide to appeal the decision.
A HAVE-A-GO hero aged 64 was thrown down an escalator after he tried to stop an elderly lady being mugged of her purse in Uxbridge.

A MAN arrested on suspicion of the murder of Frazer Bradshaw in Uxbridge has been released on bail by police.
Frazer Bradshaw passed away in the early hours of yesterday at Charing Cross hospital after being attacked while trying to break up a fight at a New Year's Eve Party.
So far three people have been arrested in connection with his death, with two on suspicion of GBH who had earlier been bailed, while yesterday a 23 year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder.
Police confirmed today (Tuesday) that he has been released on bail to reappear at a West London police station on January 14.
No charges have yet been made and police continuing to appeal for witnesses or anybody who may be able to help with their enquiries to come forward.
Meanwhile a post-mortem which took place at Uxbridge Mortuary yesterday confirmed that Mr Bradshaw died of head injuries.

A MAN has died after a violent attack in the early hours of New Years Eve in Uxbridge.
Paramedics were rushed to the scene of the crime after an argument broke out and a man was badly injured.
He was taken to hospital where he was on life support before passing away last night.
The violent attack took place in the early hours of New Year's Day near the St James Pub, in High Road, Cowley.
The victim has been named as Frazer Bradshaw, from Hillingdon.
