Commuters affected by signal failure

COMMUTERS journeys have been seriously affected today (Friday) after the Metropolitan Line was part suspended.

The line has been suspended between Hillingdon and Uxbridge for over an hour between 8am and 9am.

Transport for London blamed the problems on a signal failure at Uxbridge tube station.

Trains have not been running in either directions, and travellers are being urged to seek other methods of transport.
