Tube lines to close this weekend

tube-285399416.jpgTHE closure of both the Piccadilly and Metropolitan tube lines this weekend will cause chaos for Christmas shoppers.

The Piccadilly line will be suspended for planned engineering works on Saturday (14) and Sunday (15) between Uxbridge and South Harrow.



The Metropolitan line will also be suspended on both days between Uxbridge and Harrow-on-the-Hill.

There will be rail replacement bus services for both lines, however, the closures could lead to more people driving to shops get their Christmas gifts.

Both lines will be running the following weekend.
