Volunteers needed for Cowley Lego project

Posted by Dan Coombs on Oct 8, 09 01:01 PM in Charity/voluntary

VOLUNTEERS are being sought to build what could be the world's largest Lego brick building in Uxbridge.

Architects have designed a building with the help of children at Cowley St Laurence Primary School, in Worcester Road, Cowley.

Lego has been used elsewhere to build sculptures, but the school would be the world's first building to be constructed from Lego bricks and has two Guiness World Records pending.

Unlike Top Gear presenter James May's recent Lego house folly, this would be a real building and not just a television stunt, and will exist far beyond three days, and even has planning permission.

Volunteers are wanted immediately to help work start from one million bricks.

If you are able to help then please call What Architecture on 0798635585 or e-mail info@whatarchitecture.com
