Jazz in the park a big success
A JAZZ festival lit up a park on a Saturday afternoon during a fun family picnic for all ages.
The Vyners Swing Band provided the entertainment at Fassnidge Park, Uxbridge on Saturday while youngsters pushed a free smoothie machine to its limits.
Around 200 people attended, with guests commenting that it was great to see the bandstand being used.
There was also an organised walk before the afternoon got underway, and visitors were encouraged to share their ideas on how to use parks across Hillingdon.
