New plans for The Beeches Cottages

Posted by Dan Coombs on Aug 12, 09 04:24 PM in Local Authority

HILLINGDON Council are planning alterations to a listed building which used to be an old home for adults with learning disablities and convert it into flats.

The Beeches, in High Street, Cowley, was formerly a supported group home for adults with learning disabilities which closed last February.

Since then it has been used at temporary accommodation, but now plans are to knock down the old building and replace it with new flats.

The plans, which include one disabled parking space, and five spaces for bicycles, will be decided upon by councillors on the planning committee.

The plans include metal railings on the front and the full planning application for the Grade II listed building can be viewed on the Hillingdon Council website.

We'd like to hear from you.
