Chance to strut stuff in search for new model faces

WANNABE supermodels have the opportunity to strut their stuff in Destination Catwalk - The Chimes Model Search 08, which launches next Saturday, June 28.

Building on the success of last year's event, The Chimes Shopping Centre, in association with the Gazette, is scouting for two fresh new male and female faces, and giving them the chance to secure an exclusive contract with top London modelling agency, FM Agency.

In addition, the two lucky winners will appear in The Chimes Autumn/Winter fashion show - to be held in October - as well as fronting The Chimes Spring/ Summer magazine 2009.

They will each also receive a £250 Chimes gift card, Boots and Toni & Guy gift packs, and a personal portfolio of photographs.

Spot prizes are also available for best eyes, best face, best walk, best look and for being the best dressed, from Westside 89.6FM.

Three qualifying heats will be held in The Chimes on June 28, July 26 and August 30 respectively, from 12noon-2pm, where FM Agency will be on hand to help select 10 semi-finalists each month - but only three will be chosen to attend the final in
September, with the winner being determined by Gazette readers and online voters.

To enter one of the three qualifying heats, participants should register between 11am and 12noon, before taking part in a model workshop hosted by FM Agency. For more information, pick up an entry form from the customer information desk, or log on to www.thechimes.uk.com
