The horrific assault took place outside the Ostler pub in Belmont Road, Uxbridge, on June 26.

Police have now released the details of the assault, which took place after a drum and base music night at the pub.

A MAN whose body was found floating in the Fray's River was a bus driver who died on his birthday.

Adam Cree, 51, was a regular at the Abrook Arms pub in Harefield Road, Uxbridge, and his body was found in the river a few hundred yards away last Sunday.

On Friday at a post-mortem at Uxbridge Mortuary, the cause of death was given as drowning, and police are not treating it as suspicious.

A team of 17 staff from Bird and Lovibond Solicitors in Vine Street have signed up for the ninth Moor Park 10k to raise money for the Lynda Jackson Macmillan Centre, a source of support, advice and information for cancer patients, based at the hospital in Northwood.

THE body of a man who was found in the Fray's River has been identified as bus driver Adam Cree.

His body was discovered early on Sunday morning by a walker, floating in the Fray's River, close to the Abrook Arms pub, in Harefield Road, Uxbridge.

POLICE are treating the body found in the Frays River in Uxbridge on Sunday as 'unexplained'.

Marine forensic experts scoured the river on Sunday morning after a walker reported seeing a dead body in the River, near to the Abrook Arms pub in Harefield Road, Uxbridge.

The body was recovered by police at 10.15am.

A MAN has been arrested after his BMW ploughed into the back of a horse and cart.

The accident happened in Thorney Lane North, off Iver Lane, Iver, at 10am on Sunday.

The victim was a man in his 60s from Packet Boat Lane, Uxbridge, who was riding his horse and cart.

A DEAD body was discovered in a river in Uxbridge on Sunday.

The gruesome find was in the Fray's River at Frays Lane, Uxbridge on Sunday morning.

Police attended the scene and were there for several hours.

Jackie Baxter, who runs the Abrook Arms, in Harefield Road, Uxbridge, said: "There was a floater in the Frays, it was discovered at about 8.30am.

"The police were down all morning and we had forensic marine teams down as well.

"At the moment the circumstances are a bit of a mystery. We did a headcount of all our regular customers at the pub on Sunday lunchtime.

"There was one man in his 50s who usually comes in who didn't so we are a little worried about him at the moment."
